Bitumen also known as asphalt, is the densest liquid refined product produced from the distillation of crude oil. It is predominantly black and thick in appearance. In lower quantity, bitumen can also occur naturally in pitch lakes.
MAIN APPLICATIONS
Bitumen’s main application come from the construction of road infrastructure. Other uses include waterproofing, adhesives, or the production of ink.
